I'm a dedicated and experienced music educator who is passionate about seeing my students become the best musicians they can possibly be. I work hard every day to offer the highest-quality, best-valued guitar lessons in the area. I start complete beginners the right way, and help existing players reach the next level. 

My teaching method combines the best elements of conservatory training, popular guitar methods, and friendly jam sessions to create a fun and educational music experience. Topics for lessons include music theory, note reading, ear training, technique, improvisation, and songs that each student wants to play. 

Repertoire is pulled from a variety of sources and is customized to fit individual student's interests. From traditional melodies, classical pieces, and jazz standards, to the hundreds of rock, blues, pop, soul, and folk songs I've transcribed, I find value in studying an array of musical styles, and employ them all for lessons. 

I'm a person who loves music, truly enjoys teaching, and genuinely cares about my students. My goal is to create a relaxed and fun environment where musical excellence is pursued. When you choose me as your instructor, top-quality guitar lessons just feel "like jamming with a friend."
